This Thursday, BYRON kindly treated us to FREE hamburgers at their brand new restaurant in the heart of Manchester City Centre. I wouldn't usually opt for a hamburger as I expect them to be drowning in too many toppings and too much fuss, but Byron offer the perfect combination of good quality meat and classic adornments, which makes them simply delicious!

Before I divulge the juicy details on the LE SMOKEY, I have to comment on the amazing decor. The American diner feel is simple but with every attention to detail, which creates a relaxed and comfortable environment to enjoy your food. What makes the atmosphere even more pleasant, is the friendly vibe from all of the lovely staff who really took care of us.

I opted for the LE SMOKEY which was a pink, juicy and succulent hamburger with smoked cheddar, streaky bacon, crispy fried onions, pickles and smoked chilli BBQ sauce all served on a squishy bun - amazing! To accompany my hamburger I ordered home made skin-on chips which was the perfect portion size for me to enjoy every single morsel. With the menu being short and sweet, three of us enjoyed the LE SMOKEY and Kaz (who helped me with my new camera for these photos) opted for the B-REX, which was topped with onion rings, streaky bacon, American cheese, jalapeƱos and BBQ Sauce.

As I enjoyed my meal that much, I managed to find room for a caramel and honeycomb blondie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, seriously one of THE best desserts I have ever tasted (and I am a massive dessert fan).

If you're after a simple but delicious hamburger in a laid-back environment, with no frills necessary, then you will love Byron.

Oh, and I'm off to America in 10 days (eeek!) so let's see how an authentic American burger can measure up. Watch this space.

Until next time,

Em x

A couple of weeks ago the lovely team at Refresh PR were kind enough to drop off some Arbonne goodies to my office to try out. Their gift bags, filled with premium Arbonne products, had showered last minute valentines shoppers in Manchester City centre as part of Arbonne’s 35th anniversary celebrations.
