With Christmas just two months away (60 days, 3 hours and 53 minutes... But who's counting?) I've started having a good old browse online to make a little Christmas gift guide for my loved ones. I'm not going to lie, all that's happened so far is that my online baskets are bursting at the seams with "Gifts for Emma" which is why my latest wishlist can prepare my bank account for what's about to happen. First on my list is the amazing Austin Powers meets Lioness coat from Urban Outfitters, the question isn't IF I'm going to get this dream coat but WHEN? I've narrowed my unacceptable number of saved items down to 8 so let me know which is your favourite, and which will be seeing me from autumn through to winter.

Faux Fur Belted Suede Jacket - UO

I'm a typical girl when it comes to my hair. Always wanting it longer, shorter, thicker, lighter or darker depending on the celeb style I'm currently stalking (I'm not sure how many sets of extensions it's going to take until I turn into Adriana Lima, but I will persevere).

After years of religiously watching hauls, lookbooks, vlogmas and tutorials, I have come up with a handy little list of my top ten favourite YouTube channels for you guys to check out. If you're interested in fashion, beauty and lifestyle then you'll love all of these blogging babes and the content they deliver.

Their videos are always consistently good and I wish that I'd found a favourites list when I started subscribing to channels on YouTube, for some mega inspo and entertainment. Some of the girls have multiple YouTube channels (so even more videos for you enjoy with your morning coffee) and don't forget to check out their social media profiles and blogs as well, you won't regret it!

Pumpkin spiced lattes, fireworks and crispy leaves scattered across the ground are all characteristics of one of my lil loves in life... Autumn. With cosy knits, layers and chunky boots right around the corner, I was overjoyed to find THE transitional, between-seasons jacket, right off the high street.

This faux-suede, camel coloured duster coat is light enough to throw over a dress and bare legs for a very British summer look, but can also carry you through to next season layering over a fine knit and jeans. I've styled a quick lookbook of how I'm planning on wearing this beauty - and then I'll let you know where you can nab your own from.

Denim Dress from Primark (£14)

Green Fine Knit Jumper from H&M (£12.99) and White Joni Jeans from Topshop (£36)

Striped Blouse from Miss Selfridge (£35) and Denim Mini Skirt from Topshop (£26).

Now I bet you're wondering where this versatile, suedette jacket is from, right? It's not a far cry from my duster coats from Topshop and H&M, but no. This on-trend '70s style jacket is from the one and only Primark. At just £25 it is an absolute style steal and a no brainer. I picked up mine from the Primark in Manchester but it's likely a piece like this will be at a number of Primark's across the country. Take a look at Primark's gorgeous lookbook below with the ones to watch for Autumn.

I'm looking forward to adding pieces to my wardrobe to make my current staples easily transcend into a warmer wardrobe. Have you got your eye on anything for when the weather is getting a bit cooler? If you have, please link me any suggestions in the comments below or to your blog post.

I'd love to hear from you,

Em x

Yesterday evening, Leanne and I were lucky enough to be invited to the exclusive SS15 Blue Hues secret summer fashion show, hosted by Manchester Fashion Industry. The dress code for the event was blue hues, which was a dream come true as my wardrobe mainly consists of blue, black, white and more black anyway, however that didn't stop me finding some beautiful blue additions to add to my wardrobe for the event.
Oh hey there! You may have noticed a serious absence over the past few weeks on She Wears Seashells but here's to a new month, better intentions and hopefully regular fashion, food and lifestyle posts. To kickstart August, I wanted to share two of my favourite fashion finds with all you beauties ... just promise you'll keep it between us.

Olive is amazing. If dungarees, button down skirts, stripes and pastels are your style staples, just wait until you see their stunning Instagram - absolute perfection. The stylists creations will have you adding everything to the cart, and that's before you've even seen the creative directors beautiful hand-picked outfits from the collection. My top picks are the wine dungaree dress, mountain print vests and pretty much every single piece from the stripes category, oh and with new items added to the website every day, the postman is going to need a bigger van.

Empty casket is a cove of little treasures with animal, spiritual and witchy jewels which you can layer up for a boho vibe. All of the pieces are reasonably priced and the gems at the top end of the scale are beautiful sterling silver necklaces and rings. The rain might have dampened the summer vibes but festival season is still in full swing, grab your favourite pieces to spice up your style out in the fields.

Are there any pieces from Olive Clothing or Empty Casket which you've treated yourself to already? Any bloggers have any other August fashion finds to share? I'd love to hear from you.

This Thursday, BYRON kindly treated us to FREE hamburgers at their brand new restaurant in the heart of Manchester City Centre. I wouldn't usually opt for a hamburger as I expect them to be drowning in too many toppings and too much fuss, but Byron offer the perfect combination of good quality meat and classic adornments, which makes them simply delicious!

Before I divulge the juicy details on the LE SMOKEY, I have to comment on the amazing decor. The American diner feel is simple but with every attention to detail, which creates a relaxed and comfortable environment to enjoy your food. What makes the atmosphere even more pleasant, is the friendly vibe from all of the lovely staff who really took care of us.

I opted for the LE SMOKEY which was a pink, juicy and succulent hamburger with smoked cheddar, streaky bacon, crispy fried onions, pickles and smoked chilli BBQ sauce all served on a squishy bun - amazing! To accompany my hamburger I ordered home made skin-on chips which was the perfect portion size for me to enjoy every single morsel. With the menu being short and sweet, three of us enjoyed the LE SMOKEY and Kaz (who helped me with my new camera for these photos) opted for the B-REX, which was topped with onion rings, streaky bacon, American cheese, jalapeƱos and BBQ Sauce.

As I enjoyed my meal that much, I managed to find room for a caramel and honeycomb blondie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, seriously one of THE best desserts I have ever tasted (and I am a massive dessert fan).

If you're after a simple but delicious hamburger in a laid-back environment, with no frills necessary, then you will love Byron.

Oh, and I'm off to America in 10 days (eeek!) so let's see how an authentic American burger can measure up. Watch this space.

Until next time,

Em x

A couple of weeks ago the lovely team at Refresh PR were kind enough to drop off some Arbonne goodies to my office to try out. Their gift bags, filled with premium Arbonne products, had showered last minute valentines shoppers in Manchester City centre as part of Arbonne’s 35th anniversary celebrations.

Valentine's Day, the most disputable of all Hallmark holidays is right around the corner. Whether you are a hopeless romantic or hopelessly trying to convince yourself you're not interestedthese charming valentines picks are enough to tempt the coldest of hearts. If you’re not bold enough to leave this edit for your loved one to stumble upon, there is no need to worry. All items are £25 and under, meaning you can treat yourself and save the guilt for the heart shaped confectionary.

When it comes to beautiful, simple and affordable jewellery, there are two little treasures I have to share with you all.

The first is LVNDR who stock the best selection of hand picked pieces. My favourite designs are the numerous animal rings, bracelets and necklaces which have taken Instagram and Pinterest by storm. I already received most of the cat and kitten pieces for Christmas, so for my valentines picks I opted for the brand new baby turtle necklace (£9.99) and the popular kissing giraffes bracelet (£3.99).  Both are adorable little pieces to add to any jewellery collection. With the competitive prices, this is the perfect valentines surprise without having to spend a fortune.

My second hidden gem is Woolf Whistle which you might have seen on my Instagram in the past. I already knew that Woolf Whistle stocked seriously cool sunglasses but their jewellery is stunning. All of the pretty statement pieces can add glamour to a basic outfit meaning you can transform your wardrobe from as little as £3. My valentines pick is the gorgeous 'All The Wild Horses' necklace below which has been a hit with celebrities as well as fellow bloggers.

20% DISCOUNT with JAN15.

One of the most cliched valentines gifts (after chocolates and flowers) is delicate underwear, which is a popular 'for you, for me' choice. ASOS has an extensive collection of lingerie with intricate designs at premium quality. You would be forgiven for thinking that the lacy Stella set below is from a luxury underwear brand - this set is actually a steal for just £24.

If this Valentine's Day you'll be keeping your kit on, opt for the slogan ‘love of my life’ sweatshirt (£25). On trend slogan style, subtle and not sickly – triple win.

If you're taking your loved one out for dinner or are heading out with the girls, treat yourself to a Anna Sui lipstick for the occasion. If the creamy pink and red shades aren't tempting enough, look at the adorable pineapple-esque packaging! The 'sunlight' shade will be making an appearance on my dressing table but there are enough different shades available at Urban Outfitters for you to find your perfect valentines kiss.

You know you are getting older when you get excited about items for the home. I have developed a huge obsession with tropical and Moroccan homeware which is how I stumbled upon Rockett St George, who stock a unique and eclectic mix of homeware and gifts. I would recommend having a browse through the website yourself because there are so many unusual pieces which can add character to the home. I have picked the little gold pineapple ornament (£9.95) and gold parrot candle (£8.50) which would be perfect to personalise my new work space.

As well as my huge homeware inspiration folder of pineapples, palm trees and tropical birds, I also hoard jars, flowers and lights. When I saw these heart string lights (£10) from Urban Outfitters , I fell in love. They would be perfect to warm any room for a romantic valentines evening at home.

I hope that my valentines edit has helped anyone struggling to find a 'gift for her' or anyone not feeling the holiday vibes get a little bit more excited. Oh and it's okay if the only person you want to see this valentines day is the postman, he will be dropping off all of your new deliveries.

Happy Valentines Day,

Love Em x
